Psalm 38.17-22 For I am ready to fall, and my pain is ever before me.

Psalm 38.17-22

For I am ready to fall, and my pain is ever before me. I confess my iniquity; I am sorry for my sin. But my foes are vigorous, they are mighty, and many are those who hate me wrongfully. Those who render me evil for good accuse me because I follow after good. Do not forsake me, O LORD! O my God, be not far from me! Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!

Lord, I want nothing to come between You and me! My heartfelt cry is to be one with You. I want to see You in all Your glory with the eyes of my heart. Lord, give me the eyes that John saw with on the Isle of Patmos, the eyes of Paul on the road to Damascus, the eyes of Isaiah as he saw You on Your throne, yes, give me the eyes of Stephan as he saw You standing at the Father's right hand. Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.
