Psalm 40:15-16, 17

Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me, “Aha, Aha!” But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who love Your salvation say continually, “Great is the LORD!”

Lord, thank You for that testimony from Gary last night: No bone cancer revealed! His joy in You continues, as he said in his e-mail last night; if he can smile in spite of all the surgery of the last few weeks, so can we. What encouragers both of them are!

Lord, thank you for the way in which the confidence and joy of Gary and Elaine are being demonstrated during his treatments. Great are You, LORD.

As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!

Do not delay; You know my plea for continuing transformation. Like the peeling of an onion, remove those scars of sin and willfulness from me.
