Psalm 54:4-7 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.

Psalm 54:4-7

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. He will return the evil to my enemies; in your faithfulness put an end to them. With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good. For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.

Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Not just my body, Lord, but my heart, soul and mind also to be my freewill offering and living sacrifice to You. Let Your praises and my thanksgivings be in my mouth continuously today. You provide wisdom and discernment to protect me from the Ziphites and to propound the fullness of Your Law as compared to a weak, flabby, emasculated vision.

You stand between me and those strong bulls of Bashan who would tear, gore and trample me. You are a shield about me. It is Your love and sacrifice that cleansed me, it is Your Word that is my map and guidebook, it is the Holy Spirit that teaches me and leads me into all Truth.

Praise You, Lord.
