All day long they injure my cause; all their thoughts are against me for evil. They stir up strife, they lurk; they watch my steps, as they have waited for my life.
Lord, make me aware of the many pitfalls and snares constructed against me by the Evil One. Help me always to be alert to his jihad and to the ingenious ways he camouflages these entrapments, even to the use of “The Lord’s Work” as a means of drawing me away from You.
