For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
Lord, it is You and You alone who provide the strength to stand against the Evil One; You are the pillar of my faith and the healer of my wounds. It is to You that I must learn to turn on times of trial; I must learn to wait on Your guidance and instruction, learn to wait until You tell me to move in the direction You would have me go.
