Not cloying, Lord, but rich and nourishing with an aftertaste of joy bringing Your peace to my soul. Your Words lay out the Way Everlasting before me, warning against the rocks and roots that would cause me to stumble, while illuminating life in Your Kingdom. Your Words brings wisdom and understanding, they are my lamp and map, a very hedge about me in the presence of my enemies keeping my feet from all false paths. Praise You, my Lord and Savior.
