Oh, Lord, the things that I have known, that I learned at my mother's knee and from my father as he led his family. These are the understandings that guide and shape my life today, they are the parables that reveal You to me, the foundations of Your Word that provide stability and structure in my life today.
Thank you, Lord for parents who recounted Your mighty works in their lives so that their children would know You. Lord, forgive me for I have not done that at all. Do not let my children suffer as a result of my sin.
Voices Together is taken from my daily meditations, primarily on the Psalms. However, from time to time, I will include a meditation on the practical implications of the Law as I seek to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 78:1-3 A Maskil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth!
Psalm 78:1-3 A Maskil of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us.
