Psalm 79:11-13 Let the groans of the prisoners come before you; according to your great power, preserve those doomed to die! Return sevenfold into the lap of our neighbors the taunts with which they have taunted you, O Lord! But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise.

Lord, I lift up the Persecuted Church, both here and abroad. Here we duck and bob and weave, avoiding any semblance of criticism or censure. Give us the backbone to face the world and challenge the Lie. Be with our brothers and sisters who face daily threats to their lives; thank You for their willingness to be called to account for Your name and to be faithful to Your Word.
