Lord, as my discouragement waxes and my perseverance wanes; as the trials mount and as I am thrown off by the lack of perceived progress, You are here to tell me that all is under Your control; that You have all things under Your feet and that I am to stay in Your presence.

Psalm 86:12-13 I give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify Your name forever. For great is Your steadfast love toward me; You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
