Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your Word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your Law.
How can I live, except by Your Word? Without Your Word, life is monochromatic; in Your Word is great color, brilliant flashes of beauty beyond description. To live the bountiful life is to live a life in Your Word.
How can I see unless You open my eyes? I am like the blind man, crying to Jesus, “Open my eyes that I may see!” And having opened my eyes, I behold the most wondrous and beauteous order, Your Shalom, life as it should be lived.
