Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Trust in, delight in, commit to, be still before, wait patiently for. the LORD. Then I can do good, dwell in the land, befriend faithfulness, gain the desires of my heart, live righteousness and justice, live in peace and joy. What a challenge! What blessings!

Lord, lead me into that state of trusting, delighted, committed quiet patience that reveals You in all Your Glory. “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth with grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace.”
